Malt n Copper Xmas party 2019

New Rescheduled Date : Thursday 12th December

It’s that time of year where we pull out all the stoppers and celebrate the end of the year with some of the finest whisky we can get our hands on.

We’ve got an Unpeated Islay (heritage variety barley) a couple of rather special single casks. A Highland, a Speyside and an Irish Whiskey.

This will be our Xmas party so you may also want to bring along a little extra cash to take part in the raffle. Also feel free to bring along some delicious snacks so we can share some food whilst enjoying the following 6 drams.

Bruichladdich: Bere Barley 2010

Glenmorangie: Allta

Dailuaine: 1997 22yo Signatory (cask strength)

Deanston: 2008 11yo Signatory (cask strength)

Aird Mhor: 9yo (cask strength)

JJ Corry: The Gael (Irish Whiskey)

We will be hosting this event at our home venue again. So, two things to remember:

• the tasting will be at the same address as before No.1a (NOT No.1 who had quite a few visitors last time). The house is located in the far left hand corner of the close (Up the garden steps).

• If you fancy a beer while you settle in, please bring some (and some snacks if you like).

If you want more than one place, just reserve as many places as you need separately (this will make it much simpler if you need to cancel a place).

Please only reserve a place if you genuinely intend to come – our tastings usually sell out, and if you don’t show up you prevent someone else coming … and we end up out of pocket!

The tasting will be held at Spam’s house , 1a Major Close, Hollingdean. BN1 7EE. Its the house in the far left corner of the close. Walk up the garden steps to the black front door and ring the bell.

15 min walk from London Road train station

5 min walk from Waverley Crescent bus stop (No.50, 50U, 91). Walk down the hill and turn right onto Horton Rd. Major close will be on your right.

This friendly and informative tasting will be on Thursday 12th December at 7:30pm (for an 8pm start) at Spam’s house 1a Major Close, BN1 7EE. Please note our change of venue.

We use Eventbrite to manage our bookings, but in order to keep costs down we use cash payments. Tickets are £25 per person, in cash on the night.
