Independents Day

Our next tasting is devoted to whiskies from independent distillers and bottlers.

We have now finalised the details and are looking forward to tasting the following:

  • Douglas Laing Scallywag – a rich blend of Speyside malts
  • Spice King Wemyss Spice – a blend of Island malts
  • SMWS 39.96 (Linkwood) 29yo from a refill hogshead
  • SMWS 53.208 (Caol Ila) 17yo from a refill hogshead
  • Glenrothes 1990 23yo
  • Signatory Balmenach 25yo, bottled at cask strength

The tasting will be on Thursday 3rd July at 7:30pm (for an 8pm start) in the back room of The Lord Nelson Inn on Trafalgar Street, close to Brighton Station. Tickets will be £20 on the night.
