Summer has been and gone, and it’s time to get together, renew old acquaintances, and catch up with stuff over a dram or few.
This tasting has been long in gestation. Over the last few years we’ve collected three pairs of whiskies, matching those from almost thirty years old (& sadly no longer available) with one from the same distillery that you can buy today.
We’re not going to tell you what they are yet, but if I said that Tamnavulin, Glenfiddich and Dalwhinnie were involved, that would be a big clue. And when did you last give those a second thought? The time has come, and you’ll kick yourself…
This time we’re at home, not in the usual pub. So, two things to remember:
• If you fancy a beer while you settle in, please bring some.
• For this trial, we’ve limited the numbers slightly, and as ever, its first come first served.
If you want more than one place, just reserve as many places as you need separately (this will make it much simpler if you need to cancel a place).
Please only reserve a place if you genuinely intend to come – our tastings usually sell out, and if you don’t show up you prevent someone else coming … and we end up out of pocket!
This friendly and informative tasting will be on Thursday 3rd October at 7:30pm (for an 8pm start) at Spam’s house 1a Major Close, BN1 7EE. Please note our change of venue.
We use Eventbrite to manage our bookings, but in order to keep costs down we use cash payments. Tickets are £20 per person, in cash on the night.
