Explore the horizontal and the vertical, with two columns of three whiskies — each the product of master distiller Stuart Harvey from Inver House. Together we’ll see where they cross over, and zero in on their differences.
On the left, we have three AnCnoc Floral and Fragrant malts:
- AnCnoc 12yo.
- AnCnoc 22yo.
- AnCnoc Cutter.
And on the right, we have three Balblair Fruity and Spicy malts:
- Balblair 2005 10yo.
- Balblair 1999 16yo.
- Balblair 1990 24yo.

The tasting is on Thursday 21st July at 7:30pm (for an 8pm start) in the back room of The Lord Nelson Inn on Trafalgar Street, close to Brighton Station.
We use Eventbrite to manage our bookings, but in order to keep costs down we use cash payments – the tasting will cost £20 per person on the night.
