Let us take you on a journey through time and space.
This tasting will cover some of the key dates and events in the history of whisky. You’ll travel through the whisky landscape, pitching up in each of Dave Broom’s five flavour camps, tasting as you go, and learning more about the science behind the spirit.
We always aim to make our tastings accessible to beginners and connoisseurs alike, but we think this should be a great introduction to whisky — so if you want to persuade a friend why whisky can be as interesting to learn about as it is to taste, bring them along! We’ve reduced the ticket price to £15 to help make it more accessible.
For the more knowledgeable among you, many of these whiskies may be old friends — so to keep it interesting, this will be another blind tasting!
The tasting will take place on Thursday 28th April at 7:30pm (for an 8pm start) in the back room of The Lord Nelson Inn on Trafalgar Street, close to Brighton Station.
We use Eventbrite to manage our bookings, but in order to keep costs down we use cash payments – the tasting will cost £15 per person on the night.
