If you’re new to whisky tasting, you might like to know that Nick from Malt’n’Copper is hosting an introductory tasting at the Brighton Beer Dispensary (at 38 Dean Street in Brighton) this Thursday.
Starting from scratch, Nick will illustrate the range of styles and production processes using bottles from the various flavour camps, introducing flavour wheels, and covering a bit of history, as well as recommending some useful books and websites.
The chosen line up is:
- Glen Grant 10 year old
- Tomintoul 14 year old
- Glenfarclas 15 year old
- Yamazaki 12 year old
- Lagavulin 16 year old
There is no need to book; just turn up at 7:30pm (for an 8pm start) on Thursday 19th June. Tickets are £20.
Note that this isn’t a regular Malt’n’Copper tasting; our next tasting will be on Thursday 3rd July.
